Tim,

I know that is is. A friend of mine did that hike a few years ago from the Verdi end. He started at Patagonia and just hiked up to the ridge line and all the way across.

I'd say that that is the better way to do it. For one, it's probably easier to reach the crest of the Carson Range and finish at Mt. Rose, than try to descend off the ridge and finish at a particular place. Plus the finish is prettier. But there are no trails that I know of between Chocolate Peak and Verdi.

Either way. Let me know how it goes!

I want to hike from Lake Tahoe, through Mount Rose, to Verdi with the use of any trails. Do you think this is possible?

Greetings,

I just build a huge snow sculpture over at the east side of the Tahoe Meadows "snow park" (Thur, Apr 16). He's sitting on top of the mountain. You can't miss him (7 feet tall). I was wondering if you can pay him a visit and tell him what people are saying and or doing with him.

Thanks!
